International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Holiday Club Resorts Oy on a long-term spa and resort project in Vierumäki. The much-anticipated Vierumäki hotel, spa and resort project reached a significant milestone when Holiday Club signed contracts for the construction of a spa on the hotel property and announced plans for further resort development in the Vierumäki area. Holiday Club’s partners in the project are the owners of the hotel property, Fennia Mutual Insurance Company and Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company, and S-Pankki Kiinteistöt Oy, which is responsible for the management of the property and the spa project.
Holiday Club Resorts, one of Finland’s leading tourism operators, has been operating the Vierumäki hotel since 2021. The property has 190 hotel rooms, restaurant services and several event and meeting facilities, among other things. In 2024, the complex will be expanded with a modern, full-service lifestyle spa, which will be Holiday Club’s eighth spa and full-service resort.
