In a significant step towards environmental protection and climate change adaptation, the President issued a Decree on May 31, 2023, No. 81. As part of this comprehensive Decree, the National Center for Green Transformation and Adaptation to Climate Change will be established.
Operating under the Ministry’s umbrella, the Center’s primary responsibilities will include fulfilling commitments made under the Paris Agreement, striving for the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, and implementing green transformation initiatives, green certificate systems, and eco-labels.
