Bloomberg Law recognized Crowell & Moring’s Randa Adra in its third annual edition of “They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40,” a special report that honors the accomplishments of outstanding young lawyers nationwide. Nominees were evaluated on a range of criteria including records of success for their clients, leadership skills, and pro bono service.
Adra is a partner in Crowell & Moring’s International Dispute Resolution and Litigation groups where her practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration matters under the rules of all major arbitral institutions. She has particular experience with disputes involving the Middle East and North Africa region. She also has a robust domestic arbitration and litigation practice, which includes representing clients in commercial litigation matters in both federal and state courts. Adra leverages her experience as lead counsel on matters spanning a broad spectrum of industries—including health care, construction, infrastructure, energy, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products—to provide industry-specific counseling and solutions for clients that are both efficient and cost-effective.
In her profile, Adra described her recent substantial wins, including representing a Fortune 20 company in a $120 million arbitration, as well as another major infrastructure arbitration valued at $1.7 billion. When asked about her defintion of success, Adra commented that “success in my practice is defined by helping my clients achieve their desired outcomes. This does not mean winning a big case or garnering accolades. Rather, it is a tailored process that involves identifying what the ideal outcome is for my client and working towards that goal.”
