DivinaLaw Partner Atty. Jay-r C. Ipac discussed the role of intellectual property in bringing innovation from the academe to the industry during the recent “Building Blokcs” held in Pasig City.
“Building Blokcs” is a community meet up organized by The Blokc and Solana Foundation. It aims to create an ecosystem of students and professionals that are leveraging blockchain technology for capacity and nation building.
The guest speakers also included Mr. John Lorence Cahiwat, co-founder & CEO of QuickRaven, Mr. Jeff Salvador, core team of Jackpot, and Mr. Wesley Dela Cruz, co-founder of Web23.
Atty. Ipac holds a Master of Laws in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law from the University of East Anglia in United Kingdom and is a member of DivinaLaw’s Fintech and Data Privacy practice groups.
