For the second year in a row, Linklaters has been awarded the highest level of accreditation, “Enhanced,” in the City Mental Health Alliance Hong Kong’s (CMHA HK) 2023 Thriving at Work assessment. This recognition reflects the firm’s ongoing efforts in fostering a mentally healthy workplace, as it successfully meets the benchmarks set out in the CMHA’s Thriving at Work Guide.
The CMHA Hong Kong Thriving at Work assessment is curated to provide organisations with a framework to assess their progress towards developing a mentally healthy workplace and identify areas of improvement. Linklaters continues to progress in areas where there is scope for improvement and the firm has made advances in three out of eight standards including:
- fostering a culture of openness and inclusivity
- providing employees with good working conditions and;
- using available data, including employee feedback, to support strategy implementation and continuous improvement
Hong Kong Mental Health Partner Champion and capital markets partner, Sherry Cui, commented:
“We are proud and delighted to have once again received this highest level of accreditation in the CMHA 2023 Thriving at Work assessment. In 2022, Linklaters was the first and only organisation in Hong Kong SAR to receive the “Enhanced” ranking. It is incredibly heartening to see other companies make significant strides over the past year as we strongly believe mental well-being is as important as physical health. We will continue to work towards creating an environment where mental health is not stigmatised, but instead embraced as a vital aspect of our overall wellbeing.”
Linklaters stands out as a law firm with a strong commitment to prioritising the wellbeing of its people and to providing them with the resources they need to manage their physical and mental health in the workplace as well as creating a culture of openness and inclusivity.
