ACCRALAW has recently authored the Philippine chapter of the third edition of the “International Comparative Legal Guide (“ICLG”) – Technology Sourcing 2023,” published by the Global Legal Group (“GLG”). The ICLG discusses technology sourcing laws and regulations in 17 jurisdictions, while specifically delving on common issues, notable legislation, relevant regulations, and general commercial insights that apply in the fields of technology products and services, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and blockchain, among others. The chapter, which may be referred to by legal practitioners all over the world, also includes significant pointers on how Philippine laws on procurement, dispute resolution, intellectual property, data protection, and labor apply or affect those fields mentioned above.
The Philippine chapter, laid out in a question-and-answer format, was prepared by ACCRALAW Co-Managing Partner and Senior Partner Leland R. Villadolid, Jr., and Partners Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista, John Paul M. Gaba, and Erwin Jay V. Filio.
The International Comparative Legal Guide, first published in 2003 by GLG, “has grown into a world-renowned legal resource that covers the law in more than 192 jurisdictions and across 58 practice areas.” The Philippine chapter of the guide is now available on ICLG.com.
