The Mexican American Bar Foundation has elected Agustin D. Orozco, a Crowell & Moring partner, to serve as a member of its board of trustees. MABF is committed to enhancing diversity in the legal profession by “supporting the dreams of young women and men of Latino heritage who are pursuing careers in law.”
Orozco is a member of the firm’s White Collar & Regulatory Enforcement and Government Contracts groups. Prior to rejoining Crowell in January 2022, Orozco was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Public Corruption & Civil Rights Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California. As a former federal prosecutor, he is a skilled trial lawyer focused on directing complex white collar cases and investigations, handling contentious and sophisticated pretrial litigation, and successfully proving highly difficult cases at trial.
