Skadden advised the underwriters, led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BofA Securities, Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc., in a US$1,040,000,000 offering of 5.875% step-up callable perpetual subordinated notes due in January 2034 by Sumitomo Life Insurance Company (a Japanese mutual company). The notes were listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
