On November 14, 2023, Cambodia issued two new statements, Statements No. 836 and 837 on the official fee schedule and late fees. We summarize the three main changes in the two new statements below:
i. Shorten the period for the Patent Office to issue a patent application acceptance notice – 3 to 5 days shorter than before (shortened from 10-15 days to 7-10 days)
ii. Changes to current official fees:

iii. New fees:
- Restoration of validity period of patents/utility models/industrial designs/integrated circuits: 100,000 Riel;
- Certification of priority documents: 300,000 riel;
- Official fees for application and maintenance of plant varieties.
