From its humble beginnings in 2009 in Kolkata with just 150 participants, GIPC has grown into a global phenomenon, connecting over 5,000 delegates from 50+ nations. In June 2024, GIPC achieved a historic milestone with its first-ever international edition in Istanbul.
Hosted at the Radisson Blu, the 16th edition brought together over 100 delegates from prestigious companies such as L’Oréal, Sabanci, and Thyssenkrupp. With participants from 15 countries, including the UAE, USA, and France, the conference spotlighted cutting-edge topics like tech transfers, green technologies, and AI-driven IP innovations. The momentum didn’t stop there. On September 28, 2024, the Emerging Tech & IP Workshop in Bengaluru welcomed 131 industry specialists and 42 corporates. This event explored the latest trends and reinforced GIPC’s commitment to year-round engagement in the IP ecosystem.

GIPC’s 17th Annual Edition is set to take place on January 11-12, 2025, at The Leela Mumbai.
