Davis Polk advised Jiangsu Zenergy Battery Technologies Co., Ltd. in connection with its initial public offering and listing of H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The gross proceeds from the offering amounted to approximately HK$1.01 billion before any exercise of the over-allotment option. The offering was conducted in reliance on Regulation S.
Zenergy is a lithium-ion battery manufacturer in China with a primary focus on the R&D, production and sales of EV battery products and ESS battery products, including integrated battery solutions and battery management systems dedicated to large-scale applications of electrochemical products. Zenergy is one of the 10 largest players in China’s EV battery market in terms of installation capacity.
