DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Enrique V. Dela Cruz, Jr. recently discussed the International Criminal Court as a speaker in the “75th Humphrey Voices Series.’’
The event was organized by the Hubert H. Humphrey Alumni Philippines, in partnership with the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Faculty of Civil Law, UST Graduate School of Law, and the De La Salle University Tañada-Diokno School of Law.
Humphrey Voices Series is a neutral, non-political and non-partisan discussion on current events and important issues by Humphrey Fellows and other scholars.
Humphrey Fellowship is a global network of Fulbright scholars who are mid-career professionals dedicated to fostering change and promoting the common good. There are 129 fellows in the Philippines and its members include a sitting Supreme Court justice, cabinet secretaries and other government officials, judges, lawyers, academics, journalists, as well as nongovernmental organization and private sector leaders.
Atty. Dela Cruz was joined on the panel by De La Salle University College of Law Professor Aison A. Garcia and RTC Manila Judge James Sy as moderator who are both Humphrey Fellows.
The event also featured the induction of the new officers of Humphrey Alumni Philippines, including DivinaLaw Partner Atty. Floro C. Balato Jr. as the incoming president of the organization in the Philippines.
