Vietnam’s Rules On Work Permits Have Changed For The Better.

Vietnam has significantly simplified the work permit (“WP”) regime for foreign employees. On August 7, 2025, Decree 219/2025/ND‑CP (“Decree 219”) on employment of foreign workers in Vietnam, replaced earlier more complex rules.
