The Government has announced that Carbon Tax will be introduced beginning next year, with the initial phase targeting the iron, steel, and energy sectors.
The Carbon Tax framework and implementation mechanisms will be aligned with the National Carbon Market Policy and the forthcoming National Climate Change Bill, both of which are currently being finalised.
