On 13 March 2026, The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (Exchange) published a consultation paper seeking market feedback on proposals to optimise the weighted voting rights (WVR) listing regime, enhancing the pathway for overseas listed issuers to list in Hong Kong, amongst other improvements to listing requirements, as the initial phase of Exchange’s competitiveness review of Hong Kong’s listing framework.
The consultation period ends on 8 May 2026.
