SSEK Law Firm recently hosted an exclusive closed-door discussion for members of the International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Group (IPMG) on the implications of the newly issued Ministry of Health Regulation No. 5 of 2026 (Permenkes 5/2026) and the key issues arising from its implementation in Indonesia’s pharmaceutical sector.
The session was led by SSEK partner Nico Mooduto and senior associate Mutiara Kasih Ramadhani, who provided an overview of the new regulatory framework and discussed its practical implications for pharmaceutical companies operating in Indonesia.
Topics covered included the healthcare supply chain, regulated products, regulatory control and supervision, the Health Information System (SIK/SIKN), and supply and demand planning through the SIKN. The discussion also explored key implementation challenges and considerations for industry stakeholders as they adapt to the new regulatory requirements.
SSEK thanks IPMG for its collaboration in organizing the discussion and extends its appreciation to all participants for their valuable insights and engaging discussion.
