Bird & Bird recently advised Tauron Polska Energia S.A. in connection with the European Investment Bank’s provision of financing amounting to PLN 1.12 billion for the “Miejska Górka” wind farm. The project is a key element of the Tauron Group’s strategy for the development of renewable energy sources and the energy transition in Poland.
Bird & Bird’s advisory services included comprehensive legal support in negotiating and finalising the project’s financing documentation, including the loan agreement and other transaction documents.
The “Miejska Górka” wind farm, located in Greater Poland Voivodeship, will contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy in the national energy mix and will support the achievement of Poland’s and the European Union’s climate targets.
