SSEK Law Firm was pleased to contribute to Legal Fest 2026, a knowledge-sharing session organized by PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan to strengthen awareness and understanding of legal risks in upstream oil and gas activities in Indonesia.
The session explored the legal considerations that can arise in day-to-day operations and business decision-making, including regulatory and contractual risks, interactions with regulators, business partners, vendors and other stakeholders, and the importance of identifying and mitigating legal risks from the planning stage through implementation.
SSEK Partner Fransiscus Rodyanto shared practical perspectives on legal risk management, including the importance of maintaining proper documentation, understanding contractual obligations, monitoring regulatory and contractual developments, and the timely escalation of potential legal issues. The discussion also highlighted the importance of close collaboration between legal and business functions in managing legal risks effectively.
