Skadden is advising The Carlyle Group Inc., Actis LLC and Sequoia Capital China in connection with the approximately US$1.3 billion sale of an 81% stake in Keystone Lodging Holdings Ltd., owner of Plateno Group, to Shanghai Jinjiang International Hotels Development Co. Plateno Group took 7 Days Group Holdings Limited private in 2013 with funding from the private equity sponsors.
The Skadden team advising on the sale includes partners Gregory Miao, Peter Huang and Daniel Dusek, counsel Andre Zhu and international legal project manager Nick Shu.
In 2013, Skadden advised the buyer consortium led by affiliates of The Carlyle Group, Sequoia Capital and Actis Capital, and including Mr. Boquan He and Mr. Nanyan Zheng, the co-chairmen of 7 Days Group Holdings Limited, in the US$688 million going-private transaction of 7 Days Group Holdings Limited.
