ZICOlaw network is pleased to welcome Singapore law firm, Insights Law LLC, as a member of the network to provide Singapore legal advisory services, with effect from 2 November 2015.
Insights Law’s entry augments ZICO Law’s existing ASEAN network of 15 cities in 8 out of 10 ASEAN countries. The addition of a Singapore law firm’s participation was a logical and intrinsic part of ZICO Law’s ASEAN network growth, to complement the legal advisory services already provided by our other network members in the region, Zaid Ibrahim & Co in Malaysia, Roosdiono & Partners in Indonesia, Sok Siphana & Associates in Cambodia and the ZICOlaw network firms in Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar. Insights Law is led by first directors, Ms Chua Wei Min and Mr Gregory Chan, and plans to expand headcount throughout 2016 to strengthen its capacity and capability.
Gregory’s corporate advisory experience covers a range of Singapore and cross-border business transactions involving M&A, IPOs, RTOs, take-overs, and other capital markets, fund-raising, securities, commercial and investment transactions, and related corporate compliance. He holds a Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1998. Gregory started his legal career as a prosecutor in the Ministry of Home Affairs, followed by a legal officer in the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. Prior to joining Insights Law, Gregory was partner at a mid-tier Singapore law firm where he spent over 11 years, practicing first in dispute resolution involving cases at the State and High Courts of Singapore, before moving on to corporate finance in 2007.
Wei Min specialises in cross-border corporate and private equity transactions, regulatory compliance and is also experienced in private wealth planning involving trusts and foundations. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1995. She is also a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Wei Min started her legal career with major law firms in Singapore and joined the Singapore foreign law practice of the ZICO Law network in 2003 which she co-helmed for the past year, before moving on to Insights Law.
Insights Law’s participation will extend ZICO Law’s capability to offer clients of the network access to Singapore law advice, whilst remaining connected to the resources of the entire ZICO Law network.
