International technology, media and telecommunications law firm Olswang, via its Singapore-based Asia office, and independent Singapore law firm Holborn today announce they have entered into a non-exclusive association. The association will increase both firms’ ability to win new clients and service existing clients. The association between Olswang Asia and Holborn allows each firm to describe itself as operating 'in association with' each other and to cross-refer clients.
Rob Bratby, Asia Managing Partner for Olswang, commented: “I am delighted to today announce our association with Singapore law firm Holborn. The association will enable us to refer our clients to Holborn where they need local Singapore law advice, whilst we can support Holborn’s clients on regional and European projects. I am hugely impressed with Lakshanthi’s drive, energy and professionalism and look forward to working closely with her to make this association a success. With the arrival last week of regional corporate partner Toby Grainger from Ashurst, and the announcement of our association with Haldanes in Hong Kong we have both deepened our bench-strength and widened our capabilities through these alliances.”
Lakshanthi Fernando, Managing Director of Holborn Law, commented: “I look forward to working alongside Rob and the talented team at Olswang. Having set up Holborn to offer high quality dispute resolution services in an entrepreneurial way and with a strong client-focus, I am delighted to enter into an association with an international law firm with similar values. As a result of the association, I expect Holborn to grow and shortly add corporate and commercial service lines to our existing dispute resolution expertise.”
