Bird & Bird ATMD LLP is acting for Lantrovision (S) Ltd ("Lantrovision"), a company listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, in connection with its approximately US$127 million privatisation by way of a scheme of arrangement, pursuant to a cash offer by MIRAIT Singapore Pte. Ltd., a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of MIRAIT Holdings Corporation ("MIRAIT"), a company listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Lantrovision's principal activities are supplying, designing, installing and providing consultancy services on network integration and structured cabling for data centres, whilst MIRAIT, together with its subsidiaries and associated companies, is a leading Japanese telecommunication construction engineering and services group specialising in communication facilities installation.
The team is led by partner Marcus Chow and supported by senior associate Jolie Giouw and associate Brenda Chong. Litigation partner Boey Swee Siang is leading the aspects in relation to the requisite court approvals for the scheme, supported by senior associate Cassandra Ow.
