In conjunction with its Silver Jubilee, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) is proud to introduce the sixth edition of the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC Rules 2016) during the SIAC Congress 2016, which rules will come into effect on 1 June 2016. A brief summary of the highlights of the SIAC Rules 2016 is attached. Delegates are invited to provide feedback on the SIAC Rules 2016 before the official launch on 1 June 2016.
The SIAC Congress 2016 on 27 May 2016 is a landmark event that brings together the most eminent minds in the international arbitration arena, and an occasion for arbitrators, arbitration practitioners and in-house counsel to discuss the hot topics and global developments in international arbitration. Following the Congress will be a Charity Gala Dinner, a charity event in support of the Community Justice Centre.
The SIAC is also pleased to announce the imminent launch of the SIAC Investment Arbitration Rules in September 2016. More details on the Investment Arbitration Rules will follow.
