We have received reports that the " STOLT GULF MISHREF ", a 2010 built chemical tanker flying the Cayman Islands flag, has suffered a breakdown and required towage. It will call into a port of refuge.
General Average has been declared.
It is carrying a cargo loaded in the USA and was bound for India.
We are already acting for the insurers of three cargo receivers and if you have insured cargo we would be happy to assist in dealing with the defence of GA claims.
So far as any recovery is concerned, we have identified the vessel's P&I Club.
If your own guarantees are not acceptable we can also assist you in arranging security, with a bail fee from 0.5% of the guarantee amount.
