In a recent case the Court of First Instance affirmed the power of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) to assist and facilitate the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) in investigations, and to share the materials and intelligence obtained in its own investigations with the CSRC.
The case highlights the increasing cross-border cooperation between the SFC and the CSRC and that documentary evidence in Hong Kong will be within the reach of the CSRC.
