On August 17, 2018, the FSC issued an administrative order to promulgate the regulations of investment in foreign property or related projects for the organizations who undertake public offering or private placement for REITs pursuant to the Real Estate Securitization Act.
The regulations cover the content of the REIT investment plan, the risks which must be disclosed in the prospectus or investment proposal, the duties of investigation and understanding, the obligation to report to the competent authority within 15 days after the completion of transaction, etc.
