Intellectual Property (IP) regime in India took the revolutionary road in the year 2018-19 with radical and profound changes seeing the light of the day. It will not be a hyperbole to throne this year as the flag bearer of cardinal transformations.
Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), the government department that is responsible for promotion and protection of IP rights in India, including the functioning of the Intellectual Property Office, has introduced various administrative and procedural mechanisms for improvising prosecution in the different domains of intellectual property law.
