Davis Polk advised the joint lead managers on a Regulation S offering by Temasek Financial (I) Limited of €500 million aggregate principal amount of 0.50% guaranteed notes due 2031 and €500 million aggregate principal amount of 1.25% guaranteed notes due 2049 under its US$20 billion medium-term notes program. The notes are guaranteed by Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited.
Temasek is an investment company with a portfolio of investments covering a wide range of countries and industry sectors. Temasek was incorporated in 1974 under the Singapore Companies Act and is wholly owned by the Government of Singapore through the Minister for Finance. Temasek has been assigned an overall corporate credit rating of "Aaa" by Moody's and "AAA" by Standard & Poor's. The Temasek Group had a portfolio value of S$313 billion as of March 31, 2019.
