Introduction
The Movement Control Order (MCO) was enforced by the Government of Malaysia from 18 March 2020 and continues until 12 May 2020, in order to contain the spread of Covid-19.
We have adapted, and it is business as usual for LAW Partnership. With wellbeing of the members of the firm and those who work with us continue to be our key priority, we remain to work from home and are committed to continue providing you excellent service.
Kindly be informed that in line with the MCO:
- Intellectual Property (IP): The physical offices of the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) are closed. If you must attend to any matters with deadlines falling during the MCO period, these can be fulfilled through an online filing with MyIPO. Matters which cannot be filed online may be filed manually once the MCO is lifted.
- Litigation: In respect of court proceedings, hearings on civil cases may proceed virtually based on the discretion of the Court and the consensus between parties.
