At the invitation of the Vietnam’s Ministry of Justice, Dr. Vinh Quoc Nguyen, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Ho Chi Minh City office, will speak at a special seminar for lawyers and trainees on June 29 in Hanoi. The seminar, organized by the Hanoi Bar Association and focusing on international trade in the context of Vietnam’s international commitments, will take place at the Central Guesthouse at 8 Chu Van An from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lawyers in attendance can receive credit for compulsory professional training.
Dr. Vinh’s afternoon session will cover ambiguities in the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), also known as the Vienna Convention, and will set aside time for interactive Q&A with the attendees.
