13 August 2020
Due to the pandemic, the combination of highly stressed environments and financial changes can lead to distressed couples seeking divorce. Earlier this year, the Hong Kong courts were closed due to the pandemic and have slowly resumed operation. This has created increased pressure amongst couples who were already going through divorce proceedings prior to the outbreak of the virus, as well as those who are seeking a divorce as a result of it.
In the first session of our webinar series, the impact of the pandemic will be discussed in relation to divorce within Hong Kong, and how one can expedite this painful process by alternate dispute resolution.
This session will be conducted in English and Cantonese separately. Each webinar will be 45 minutes long, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
