The U.S. health care system costs more and produces poorer health outcomes than other OECD countries. Indeed, the cost of the system is crowding out investment in other investments such as education, early learning, housing, that lead to healthier communities. Rep. Earl Blumenauer and colleagues will explore changes to a system that could achieve better health outcomes at lower cost, creating opportunities for additional smart investments in our families and communities.
