Like so many of our clients who embody the Asian success stories occurring across the region, Zaid Ibrahim & Co., the first member of the ZICO Law network, was established in 1987 above a bicycle shop in Kuala Lumpur. From these humble beginnings, the three decades of development and growth has seen ZICO Law grown into a network of independent leading law firms with a full presence in 17 cities across Southeast Asia.

In the 1980’s, Malaysia was one of the first countries in the region to embark on a policy of privatisation, and Zaid Ibrahim & Co. was the first local law firm to work with the Malaysian Government in this area.
