The FCA has published a consultation paper (closing 16 September 2022) on “improving equity capital markets”. With this, the FCA has essentially fired the “starting gun” for the much anticipated changes to the UK MiFID II regime following the UK Wholesale Markets Review conducted by HM Treasury in cooperation with the UK regulators.
