Inland Counties Legal Services has named Crowell & Moring associate Alice Hall-Partyka as the Volunteer of the Year in recognition of her efforts to “make access to justice a reality in Riverside & San Bernardino Counties.” The award was presented at the Advocates for Justice celebration on October 20 in Riverside, CA.
Hall-Partyka is a member of the firm’s Health Care group, where her practice focuses on assisting health care payers, providers, and other health care entities on regulatory and corporate matters. She routinely counsels clients on compliance with a broad array of state and federal health care laws and regulations, including in the areas of Medicaid and Medicare program requirements, health reform, state regulation of payers and providers, digital health, pharmacy benefit management, and mental health parity.
In partnership with ICLS, Hall-Partyka advised and supported a group of medical students in forming a nonprofit entity with a mission to build and support community health projects in the Inland Empire (Riverside & San Bernardino Counties). She also organized and led a team of lawyers from Crowell’s corporate, tax, health care, and intellectual property groups in order to address a range of legal issues on which the nonprofit needed guidance.
