True to its thrust of dynamic lawyering, DivinaLaw has diversified its business, starting the year with a bang venturing into the food and beverage industry. Café Aurora, a restaurant offering Asian and familiar global flavors with contemporary presentation, had its private blessing earlier today attended by the Firm’s lawyers and special guests.
In a message he delivered during the ceremony, Managing Partner Atty. Nilo T. Divina expressed his excitement on this new venture. “Our aspiration is to be the first Michelin-starred restaurant in the Philippines. We have accomplished things that initially we thought we would not be able to accomplish, and I’m hopeful that with our very excellent, dynamic chefs, matched with the support of the Firm, we will be able to realize our aspiration,” Divina said.
The restaurant is also Divina’s way of paying homage to her mother, after whom, Cafe Aurora was named. “I remember that during her lifetime, she poured love and affection and showed attention to details, making every meal she prepared magical,” said Divina.
At the helm of the kitchen of Café Aurora are the dynamic tandem of renowned chefs Nicco Santos and Quenee Vilar—known for their role in the success of other restaurants like Hey Handsome, Elephant Grounds, and Your Local.
Café Aurora is located at the ground floor of the Pacific Star Building in Makati, which also houses the Firm’s offices. It is currently open for private events only but will be open to the public very soon.
