Law firm Hill Dickinson has advised occupational health and wellbeing specialist PAM Group on the acquisition of mobile health screening business MedProtect for an undisclosed sum.
Warrington-headquartered PAM Group has acquired MedProtect as the latest addition to PAM Group’s portfolio as it continues to expand through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. The business, which is also located in Warrington but operates its screening services across the UK and Ireland, employs seven staff and has annual revenues approaching £1 million.
James Redshaw, a senior associate in Hill Dickinson’s Manchester Corporate team, advised PAM Group on the deal. He said: “PAM Group is pursuing a growth strategy via acquisition of businesses that complement and broaden its range of services. The addition of MedProtect to the group is a good fit for both parties and we were pleased to work with PAM Group to successfully close this deal.”
PAM Group is one of the largest occupational health, employee assistance programme and wellbeing providers in the UK, employing more than 700 people. It currently supports more than 700,000 employees for over 1,000 clients. The company is backed by private equity firm LDC.
MedProtect will continue to trade under its own brand as part of the PAM Health division of PAM Group.
