On the 11th of May 2023, Legal500 held the inaugural Southeast Asia Awards 2023 in Singapore. Richard Wee Chambers (“RWC”) was shortlisted in the category of “Rising Law Firm of The Year”. In the list of 15 law firms in the category, only two Malaysian law firms were nominated and one of whom is RWC.
Legal500 is a global legal research and publishing company founded in the United Kingdom in 1987. They conduct ranking and assessments on law firms from across the globe for their annual Legal500 directory. Their methodology and process in formulating the rankings of the law firm are highly respected and regarded.
RWC has been ranked by Legal500 since 2022. However, before RWC’s establishment in 2019, our Richard Wee was a Legal500 lawyer between 2014-2019.
RWC is pleased and honoured to be shortlisted and nominated for the Legal500 Southeast Asia Awards. It was an unexpected nomination, but one of which the firm is proud of.
