DivinaLaw Senior Partner Atty. Jay Layug recently moderated a panel discussion on energy transition during World Bank’s public launch and forum for the Philippines Economic Update held earlier today in Taguig City.
The event discussed how the Philippines can address the dual challenges of the energy sector in meeting growing demand and keeping supply secure, reliable, and affordable while working toward a clean energy future.
World Bank Country Director Ndiame Diop delivered the opening remarks while Philippine Department of Energy (DOE) Sec. Raphael P.M. Lotilla delivered the keynote speech.
Atty. Layug was joined on the panel by Danish Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Franz-Michael Skjold Mellbin, DOE Usec. Rowena Cristina L. Guevara, Citiscore Energy REIT Corp. President and CEO Oliver Y. Tan, and University of the Philippines Prof. Rowaldo G. Del Mundo.
