Dr. Sok Siphana, the Managing Partner of SokSiphana&associates, is a renowned senior lawyer and advisor to the Royal Government of Cambodia.
Having served as Secretary of State to the Ministry of Commerce to the Cambodian Government during the early 2000s, Dr. Sok’s unique hands-on experiences and insights related to the development of the Cambodian legal system, economic environment and evolution of Cambodia’s commercial and investment law framework make him a fine asset to the ZICO Law network.

Chambers Asia recognized Dr. Sok as a Leading Lawyer in the area of General Business Law in the years of 2011-12 and 2013.
Dr. Sok Siphana is supported by Khieu Mealy, who is versed in, among others, land issues, commercial laws and intellectual property rights. Mealy’s experience includes advising on the Land Law Implementation Project and the Agriculture Sector Development Project with the Asian Development Bank.
In addition, the firm has been further strengthened by the recent appointment of Matthew Rendall as a Senior Partner. Matthew has been engaged full-time in the legal sector in Cambodia since 1994 and for the past 10 years has been the Managing Partner of a Phnom Penh based international law firm focusing on foreign and domestic investment.
A former consultant to the Ministry of Land Management and Municipality, Matthew has been closely involved with the development of the recently enacted property laws and was also the founding foreign arbitrator on the Cambodian Labor Arbitrational Council. He is an Australian lawyer admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
