Janice Lin is a partner with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm. Janice’s expertise includes foreign investment, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, IPO and capital markets, and loan and project financing.

Janice has advised on a wide variety of corporate financing and cross-border joint venture, and M&A transactions, in high tech, manufacturing, retailing, energy, banking & finance, and securities industries. She has represented international companies, private equity funds, and strategic investors in their investment, merger, and acquisitions in Taiwan. Janice is frequently praised by international clients for her practical advice, and ability to effectively communicate with local regulatory authorities on the new type of transaction or financing structure.

Janice has led a team to assist a leading global developer of offshore wind farms in its investment in a groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind Formosa I offshore wind farm project in Taiwan.  Given the relatively new and ever-evolving regulatory regimes and licensing processes, and the complex landscape of various industry suppliers, players, and other interest groups (such as fishermen, local resident groups, and environmental groups), T&T is one of the very few law firms in Taiwan with the necessary expertise and experience to provide comprehensive and strategic advice with respect to all aspects of offshore wind farm projects in Taiwan.

On Capital Market practice, Janice has extensive experiences in representing Taiwan listed company with their foreign securities offering (e.g. ECB, GDR or ADR).  Janice also represents various foreign issuers for their IPO and listing over Taiwan securities exchanges.

Janice frequently advises and represents international and domestic financial/securities institutions, including private equity funds, on their new products, investments, offering and placement related activities.  She also works with Taiwan financial and securities related agencies or associations on new legislation and rule making.
