Ms. Cochico has been involved in the establishment of joint venture companies and business process outsourcing companies in the Philippines for Asian, North American and European clients and has assisted companies in their applications with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). She has participated in the sale or acquisition of shares of stock or assets of various companies in the aviation, electronic, energy, garment, mining, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries. She has likewise been involved in various projects involving insurance companies, mining companies, construction, real estate, and stock option plans. She has acted, and continues to act, as Corporate Secretary and/or Director of various domestic corporations, including companies engaged in landholding, manufacturing, power generation, securities, business process outsourcing and freight forwarding.

Ms. Cochico obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines in 1989 and ranked twelfth in her class. She was an Outstanding Office of Legal Aid, University of the Philippines, student awardee in 1989. She completed her degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines, where she graduated cum laude in 1985.
Ms. Cochico has co-authored the Philippine Chapters for the publication International Liability of Corporate Directors by the Center for International Legal Studies and for Chartis-Asia D & O Publication. She was head of the Publications Committee of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Makati City Chapter for several years, was editor-in-chief of the Chapter’s newsletter from 1999 to 2011, and has written articles in said newsletter.
Ms. Cochico is an officer of the Legal Management Council of the Philippines where she has held various positions since 2005 and is currently its Vice President. She is a member of the Makati City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines where she has held various positions as either a director or officer. She is also a member of the Philippine Bar Association and the University of the Philippines Women Lawyers’ Circle.
