PRACTICE

 

Sagadaven provides legal counsel across a wide range of matters including property, general, life and motor insurance and professional malpractice.

 

His area of expertise encompasses contentious and non-contentious aspects of insurance law, professional malpractice and law of negligence in general. He is regularly appointed by insurance companies to represent them and/or their insureds parties in civil actions or suits as well as for advisory matters. He is also a legal advisor for the General Insurance Association of Malaysia and the Motor Insurers' Bureau of West Malaysia. Sagadaven is also regularly appointed to provide advisory work relating to interpretation and/or simplification of insurance policy wordings and to represent the relevant associations in court proceedings where the decisions are likely to affect the insurance industry in general.

 

Sagadaven is a panel member of the Medical Protection Society based in United Kingdom and frequently appointed to represent medical practitioners in malpractice litigation and medical inquiries. A number of court cases that Sagadaven has featured in have been reported in the Malaysian law journals.
