Ms. Yvonne Liu is a partner with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm. Yvonne specializes in general corporate law, capital markets, M&A, securities law, cross-border transactions, fair trade law, patent licensing, and commercial disputes resolutions.

 

Yvonne’s transactional practice in Tsar & Tsai focuses on assisting multinational corporations and publicly traded companies on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliance and joint ventures, tender offer, and post-closing corporate restructuring.

 

Yvonne also familiar with regulations regarding fund raising via public offering or private placement and issuance of TDR, GDR and ECBs, and advice on debt restructuring, and assist foreign companies to apply for the initial public offering in Taiwan stock exchange. In addition, Yvonne has represented Tsar & Tsai been invited to participate in various government conferences on proposal to draft or amend Taiwan’s laws and regulations with respect to securities, foreign investment as well as share listing rules, etc.

 

In addition to the transaction practice, Yvonne also provides legal advice on shareholding plan, and assists clients to resolve shareholding and other commercial disputes by litigation and/or arbitration. Yvonne has Patent Attorney license and is also an expert in patent licensing matter and has assisted various high tech companies in patent licensing matters. The scope of her work includes licensing negotiations, drafting and review of licensing agreements.
