We are proud to announce that Zul Rafique & Partners was one of the Counsels involved in a deal that was awarded the Project Finance Deal of the Year award at the 13th Annual ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2026 which was held on 9th April 2026.
Zul Rafique & Partners acted as Malaysian counsel for a consortium of international and cross-regional banks on a jumbo financing of up to USD2.8 Billion for Bridge Data Centres to fund the construction, development and operation of data centre facilities in Malaysia. The facility is to fund the expansion of capacity of existing data centres across Malaysia, marking one of the then largest bank facilities for a pan-Asian data centre operator.
The deal was led by our Banking & Finance Partner, Celine Rangithan, with the support of Senior Associate, Christin Wong and Associate, Ameelia Husna.
