Shook Lin & Bok is pleased to have advised and acted for the Michelin Group (the “Group”) in the outbound cross-border amalgamation of the Group’s Singapore entity with its French entity.
The amalgamation was implemented by way of a scheme of arrangement under section 210 of the Companies Act 1967, which has recently been sanctioned by the Court.
The transaction was led by Restructuring & Insolvency Partners Daryl Fong and Sarah Chew together with Mergers & Acquisitions Partner Lim Ziwei, with support from Senior Associates Louis Lai and Sukruth Shroff, and Trainees Cheryl Lee and James Howe. We are honoured to have supported Michelin on this strategic transaction and are grateful for the trust and confidence placed in our team.
