We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kai Yun Tan as a partner in our Restructuring, Insolvency and Special Situations (RSSG) practice, based in Singapore.
Kai Yun focuses on restructuring and insolvency, regularly acting for corporate debtors, sponsors, creditors, and turnaround professionals and investors. With over a decade of experience, Kai Yun has been involved in some of the most complex and high-profile re-structurings and insolvencies in Asia in recent years, spanning both in-court and out-of-court mandates in relation to domestic and cross-border restructurings.
She is also experienced in maritime and shipping disputes, regularly representing bank creditors, shipowners, charterers, shipyards and offshore oil and gas companies in mari-time disputes, including disputes arising out of charterparties, insurance policies and bills of lading.
Kai Yun joins alongside Manoj Pillay Sandrasegara, a widely-recognised restructuring practitioner ranked by numerous legal directories including Chambers & Partners, IFLR1000 and The Legal 500, as the firm continues to invest in the region as part of its ongoing growth strategy in Asia.
