International law firm Bird & Bird advised BRIDOR (Groupe Le Duff), the world leader in premium frozen bakery and pastry products, on the acquisition of the PANAMAR BAKERY group, a Spanish manufacturer and distributor.
Leveraging an integrated production and distribution network, PANAMAR BAKERY Group exports over 1,200 product references to more than 20 countries, under the Panamar, Cobopa, Pacfren and Panusa brands. With the acquisition of PANAMAR BAKERY, BRIDOR reaches a significant milestone by becoming one of the leading global players in bakery and pastry sectors as well as a major player in the Iberian Peninsula. The acquisition will also enable BRIDOR to strengthen its global industrial and logistics capabilities across the 100 countries in which it operates.
This transaction represents the largest acquisition by Groupe Le Duff and BRIDOR to date. Building on this latest transaction, and with its various subsidiaries BRIDOR (bakery), GOURMING (ready-cooked dish), its restaurant brands (Brioche Dorée, Del Arte, La Madeleine and franchises) and Real Estate, Groupe Le Duff now targets €3.5 billion in revenue.
