Bird & Bird has advised Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) on its assumption of full ownership of the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF), a leading international financial technology event that welcomed more than 65,000 participants from 135 countries as part of its 10th edition in 2025. The next edition of SFF runs in November 2026.
GFTN is a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024. It hosts a worldwide network of forums and programmes; advises governments and companies on policies and the development of digital ecosystems and innovation within the financial sector; offers digital infrastructure solutions, and plans to invest in financial technology startups through its upcoming venture fund, with a focus on inclusion and sustainability.
