International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Shoptet on its acquisition of Czech AI company Jarabot. The transaction represents Shoptet’s first strategic acquisition since its ownership change and supports its continued investment in AI-powered solutions for e-commerce.
Founded in 2025, Jarabot provides AI-driven customer service technology that automate customer interactions across multiple communication channels.
Bird & Bird provided comprehensive legal support to the buyer throughout all stages of the transaction, including legal due diligence, the preparation and negotiation of the transaction documentation, and the coordination of the signing and closing process. The team advised on M&A, corporate, IP/IT, data protection and commercial matters.
